Resolving not to look back

According to the Gita it seems there is a spiritual sky or world apart from our material world, not visible readily to our imperfect senses. It seems that the material world is only a quarter of the spiritual world.

The other interesting point to be noted is that - as the material world is full of miseries linked to birth, death, ageing, injury and disease, the spiritual world is completely rid of these.

The bodily conception of life is based on the fact that life is there while the body is living but the soul which is an integral part of life is eternal and never dies like the body.

To attain the spiritual sky or the lord, referred to as Krishna in the Gita the living entity must serve the super soul as an eternal servitor. In fact that is the Sanatana Dharma which is not a religion actually but the most natural occupation of the living entity.

Serving the lord in every way while remembering him brings satisfaction and happiness to the spirit soul just like it does to each organ of the body engaged in serving the basic needs of the stomach.

The super soul is absolute and has a form and a name which matches all within our experience and beyond it too. There is no difference between the lord and the lord's name.

We do not need to think of the end all the times but while being engaged in our daily activities we can practice remembering the lord's name continuously and so naturally while quitting the body, which can happen anytime we are bound to think of the lord without much effort and thus easily get access to the spiritual sky.

The best way to serve the lord is by remembering his name and form all the times. He is the absolute truth and the eternal divine person. He is the supreme doer and enjoyer. while the living entity is conscious of its own body the lord is conscious of all the bodies and is like the best friend and lover to all.

The living entity is happily the part and parcel of the lord and under the spell of illusion tries to be happy by serving his personal sense gratification in different forms but this will never make him happy. He will be unnecessarily caught in perpetual cycles of birth and death.

His true happiness lies in making the lord happy by serving him all the times. There is no need to lament for the body as it is temporary anyway. In the material world the material body is cause for lot of temporary or illusory enjoyment while being the main cause for lot of miseries and pains.

There is nothing wrong with sense gratification while remembering the lord, except that one should be wary of becoming a slave to it.

A perfect human being or humanity questions the suffering associated with the body and searches for the solution. All human activity is a failure unless one is awakened to inquire the nature of the absolute.

The lord Krishna or the personality of Godhead, is the cause of all causes and so the primal cause. He is the eternal being, knowledge and bliss - Sachidananda.

There are five eternal truths - Isvara, Jiva, Prakriti, Kala or time and Karma. Of these the 1st four are eternal but the last is not as the living entity can expiate the effects of these by making amends and even suffering.

Jiva is the superior energy of the lord as it is very much conscious in quality just like the lord and Prakriti is the inferior one.
