Beyond the Horizon - A bit of Height of Imagination

 In 1982-83 or so – I was in the 5th year of my 5 year graduate course in Electrical Discipline class at Indian Institute of Technology, Hauz Khas, Delhi. We all had to give 2 talks under Colloquium - 1st one about the Industrial Summer training of 2 months and the 2nd one on any topic that we found interesting depending on our experiences from the discipline.

As I had quite a philosophical & Creative turn of thinking, I chose AI – Artificial Intelligence, and I remember that in the latter half of the talk I went as far as to propose and put forth the possibility of existence of a soul in the AI (Strange as we are not even sure of this in us or the Natural Intelligence as Soul is quite intangible though eternal depending on belief) as it's Magnitude or Volume (For example Telephone Exchange networks and now Internet) and Quality increases in future, maybe depending on a Threshold set by God or the existence...!

Though a bit naive and stupid - As only Time - Waqt (One is most welcome to check the great lyrics of the title song of the Indian movie with the same name) will tell and it is quite a mysterious entity as the 4th dimension with the 3 dimensions of space, but I guess this philosophical idea or notion is rather quite Creative...Expanding the horizon of Human mind.

The Gita clearly refutes this idea as I found when I read it but not sure.

Actually the prime entity is Karma in this creation...

Resolving not to look back

According to the Gita it seems there is a spiritual sky or world apart from our material world, not visible readily to our imperfect senses. It seems that the material world is only a quarter of the spiritual world. The other interesting point to be noted is that - as the material world is full of miseries linked to birth, death, ageing, injury and disease, the spiritual world is completely rid of these. The bodily conception of life is based on the fact that life is there while the body is living but the soul which is an integral part of life is eternal and never dies like the body. To attain the spiritual sky or the lord, referred to as Krishna in the Gita the living entity must serve the super soul as an eternal servitor. Wanderer

She was a puny bit of the whole conglomeration. Though so tiny she could move. She was moving at breakneck speed with so many others like her and they all seemed like long lost sisters. When she became conscious of herself she was swimming away to glory to she did not know where. She had vague memories of being part of a bigger whole where she was going round in endless circles with many others like her. But those memories had faded away fast when she found herself a microscopic part of this exodus. They all did not know where they started and where was the end of this mass migration.
