What makes you tick


Is it a dollop of ice cream or ripe sweet mangoes ? Or is it slices of bread laden with butter, cheese, jam or marmalade ? Is it cherries, grapes or strawberries ? Does the mention of all these do something to your taste buds ?
Can it be too a game of chess or word zap ? Or just relaxing lazily on a hammock ? Have you ever given this matter some thought ?
Perhaps it interests you to read a cozy book or even write down anything coming to your mind ? Or to go for a walk or jog.
It could well be listening to some favorite music or even cooking of gardening ? Do some colors make you feel good like blue or even red ? Green is a color which is pleasing to all as it gives the feeling of coolness to the eyes.
It also can be watching a good movie on TV or even your phone. In any case it is important to be sure about what can make you feel good - something that ticks you 
It will help to make your life lively and happening. There are so many things in this world. This life is a grand conglomeration of mind blowing number of bits.
One can go out and shop or go for a picnic. One can go for boating, fishing or even a trek. There are myriad possibilities. Just keep and open mind and do not let the mind be frozen on something particular.
One can even spend time meditating or praying. This will also bring calmness to the mind and make one stronger to face the occasional throes of life. It will also help to overcome and allay the natural fears of the mind.
In whatever one does the level of enthusiasm plays a great role. At the same time initiative and motivation are also two important factors.
Life should not feel like a burden - it should be source of immense pleasure. Ask yourself often how much you like life. If by chance the answer is that you are tired of life - it is time to react proactively and even seek help as far as possible.
To build enthusiasm one should have a set routine for the day and sleep well too. For good initiative and motivation one should develop a long list of healthy interests.
Avoid too much fixation on a particular interest unless it is a healthy passion. Channelization of the mind is of utmost importance to avoid any kind of frustration. Try to have 4-5 interests and hobbies that turn you on in parallel.
Playing indoor and outdoor games is a good way to release the inherent tensions of the mind and body. There are so many games available like Billiards, Snooker, Pool, Table tennis, Badminton etc.
To occupy the mind well there are crosswords and many other word games like scrabble...Life is like an ocean of every kind of things. If one path is blocked do not despair as there are hundred more to be explored.
